Sorting Volunteer
Location: Warlingham, Caterham, Sanderstead, Croydon (in-person)
Commitment: One half-day or full day every few months (usually weekends)
Minimum age: 18+
Role Description
Image In is seeking Sorting Volunteers to support the organisation of donated clothing, shoes, and accessories. This role plays a vital part in ensuring donations are prepared, recorded, and ready for use in our styling sessions and community events.
Sorting Volunteers work as part of a small team alongside the founder and other volunteers in a friendly, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and categorise donated clothing and accessories
- Assist with recording and tracking donated items
- Lift and move boxes of clothing safely as part of a team
- Maintain an organised and respectful working space
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Aged 18 or over
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Able to lift and move boxes with support
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience in clothing retail, stock management, or organising tasks
- Enjoyment of organising and practical work
Time Commitment
- One half-day or full day session every few months
- Sessions are typically scheduled on weekends
