Who we are
Image In is a Community Interest Company fighting clothing poverty within the transgender and gender non-conforming community. We believe that having access to clothing that reflects who you are isn't a luxury.
It's a basic need.
We collect and redistribute donated clothing, accessories, binders, and shapewear across South London, Surrey, and beyond through events where community members can get personally styled, try on clothing they like and take whatever helps them feel most like themselves.
Founded in 2025, we're community-led and proud of it. Every decision we make is rooted in the lived experiences of the people we serve.
Everyday clothing, formal wear, shoes, and accessories for everyone in the community.
Volunteer stylists on hand to help community members find what feels right for them.
We run regular events across South London, Surrey, and beyond where community members can browse and be styled in a safe space.
All our events are affirming, inclusive spaces run by and for the community. Everyone is welcome, always.
We're expanding across Sussex and Kent, reaching more of the community every month.
Everything we do is made possible by our incredible team of volunteers, who give their time and skills to support the community.
We're working towards offering gender-affirming essentials including binders and shapewear at our events.
We're planning to connect community members with makeup artists, hair stylists, voice coaches, and other specialists at our events.
Our founder
Imogen founded Image In because she knows firsthand how transformative the right support can be. During her own transition, navigating periods of unemployment and the financial pressures that come with it, she experienced the profound impact of a charity that provided clothing and styling support. It left her feeling dignified, seen, and supported. And it made her realise how valuable it would have been to have a safe, affirming space to explore clothing and style without financial pressure.
Recognising a clear gap in the support available for trans and gender non-conforming people, Imogen created Image In to offer the experiences she would have found invaluable herself, a place to explore identity, build confidence, and feel affirmed in gender expression, free from judgement or cost.
With a background in community building, charity work, and leadership, Imogen brings both lived experience and organisational skill to everything Image In does. She believes that in the current political climate, dignity is in short supply especially for trans and gender-diverse people. Image In exists to change that, one person at a time.
"You are worthy of being celebrated. We're here to help make that possible."

It is important to us that our service is as accessible as possible for our users, so we try and keep our service as close to free as we can. This means we rely on the generosity of supporters like you to keep the lights on. Every donation, however small, helps us reach more community members who need us.
Donations go towards running events, sourcing specialist items like binders, building infrastructure, getting new equipment, expanding into new areas and staffing costs.
You can also support us by donating clothing, volunteering your time, or simply sharing our page with someone who might want to help.

We work with businesses and organisations who want to make a genuine difference to the trans and gender non-conforming community — and who want to grow their own understanding along the way.
We have three partnership tiers — Mirror, Reflect, and Transform — offering different levels of involvement, visibility, and impact. Sponsorship directly funds our community events and helps us reach more people.
