Merchandise Volunteer

Location: In-person (location confirmed per session)
Commitment: Occasional, half-day or full-day sessions
Minimum age: 18+


Role Description

Image In is seeking creative Merchandise Maker Volunteers to help produce handmade merchandise that supports our fundraising work. This role involves creating items such as printed t-shirts, tote bags, and badges in a collaborative, workshop-style setting.

Merchandise Maker Volunteers play an important role in helping Image In raise funds while contributing to inclusive, affirming designs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Produce merchandise including t-shirts, tote bags, and badges
  • Follow clear design briefs and production guidance
  • Work collaboratively with other volunteers to meet agreed quotas
  • Maintain a tidy, safe working space and handle materials with care

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Aged 18 or over
  • Interest in creative or hands-on making activities
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Desirable

  • Experience with textiles, printing, crafting, or badge making
  • Interest in inclusive design or graphic-based merchandise

(No prior experience required — full guidance will be provided.)


Time Commitment

  • Occasional half-day or full-day sessions
  • Sessions arranged around production needs

Materials & Creative Input

  • All materials will be provided
  • Work will initially follow set briefs
  • Opportunities for creative input and new ideas may grow over time
